The HART® Communication Foundation has announced that this fall it is presenting educational seminars on WirelessHART(tm) technology in both the USA and Europe. The seminars are part of an ongoing program to disseminate information to automation professionals on the first interoperable wireless communication standard for process monitoring and control applications. Seminars in the USA are scheduled for Baton Rouge, Louisiana (14 Oct), Joliet, Illinois (20 Oct) and Long Beach, California (27 Oct). Dates and locations for seminars scheduled in Germany, Italy and Norway are to be announced shortly. The one-day, vendor-neutral seminars are being presented by industry specialists from the Foundation, ABB, Emerson Process Management, Endress+Hauser, Pepperl+Fuchs and Siemens. Seminar topics include: understanding WirelessHART technology; using WirelessHART in the plant environment, planning a WirelessHART project; and live WirelessHART demonstrations.
