Arab Steel appointed Nedhal Fallouh as DG of the General Organization for Engineering Industries in Syria. Fallouh will succeed Nasser Al Yousef. Dr. Nedhal has held many positions including representative of the Ministry of Industry to the National Committee on Industrial Apprenticeship, Member of the Board of the Syrian Scientific Society for Quality and member of the Syrian Computer Society. In addition to his PhD in technical sciences from Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics, Fallouh also holds a diploma in Electronic Engineering. He assumed the position of Deputy Production Manager at Handasiyah from 1994 to 2000 and supervised the computer department at the company from 1998 to 2001. In addition to his position as Member of the Board from 2003-2007, Fallouh took on the role of Production Manager from 2000 to 2010. He currently represents Handasiyah in addition to his position as a SIAMCO Board Member and Vice Chairman of the Syrian and Turkish JV for manufacturing and assembling solar panels.
