Oilennium Ltd, a provider of training programmes to the international oil and gas industry, has appointed earth scientist Sharron Ganther to the position of Trainee Instructional Designer. With her in-depth experience in exploration and the geotechnical and geophysical sciences, the appointment of Ms Ganther signals a new scientific direction for the oil and gas industry training specialist. In her new role, Ms Ganther is responsible for producing e-learning solutions for the exploration industry. Drawing upon 10 years experience in oil and gas, and 20 years in publishing and academia, Ms Ganther is overseeing a new line of training courses that will focus on oil and gas exploration. She is writing course content, and working closely with clients and Oilennium’s team of graphic designers and courseware developers to ensure that the new courses are effective, and that the content reflects the technologies currently being employed in the industry.
