The special smelting plant MKM Mansfelder Kupfer und Messing GmbH, a producer of semi-finished products made of copper and copper alloys, has ordered 30 heat-resistant furnace rollers from BUTTING. In 2003 MKM completely equipped one of his heat treatment plants with its furnace roller. The use of the uncooled BUTTING HeRo® enabled MKM to decrease its energy costs and down-times considerably. The current order consists of 30 furnace rollers with the dimension of 273.0 x 20.0 / L = 3603mm, made of Nicrofer 6025HT/2.4633. The heart of the BUTTING HeRo®, the roller body, is the sophisticated longitudinally welded BUTTING pipe with its very tight tolerances of form and position.
