BASF (Germany) has been ranked the world’s most admired chemical company by the US business publication Fortune. In a comparison of all German companies across industries, BASF was awarded second place. Fortune publishes its list of the world’s most admired companies every year. In the fourth quarter of 2002, 10,000 directors, executives and managers at 345 companies were surveyed worldwide.
