Fermont iron drill program

Champion Minerals Inc. has announced that a 5000m drill program is being initiated to delineate iron mineral resources on the Fermont Iron Property located in the Fermont iron ore district, 250km north of the St Lawrence River port town of Port Cartier and centered 60km SW of Fermont in NE Quebec. In the phase 2 drilling campaign, Champion said it plans to drill a total of 5000M on three of the Property’s projects that contain approximately 233,000,000tns of historical resources that grade 30% iron which is typical of the iron grades for the FIOD and the Labrador City and Wabush iron mines. Champion staked additional claims in the FIOD following the reconnaissance program in October 2008. A total of 146 claims covering 77sq/km were added to the property for a total area of 341sq/km.
