Fagor Arrasate, a company that designs, manufactures, assembles, and installs automatic and customisable material cutting and forming installations, is making a major industrial investment at its Mondragón headquarters in Spain, aimed at modernising and expanding its production capacity, as well as optimising and reorganising its industrial spaces.
The new building will house a unit for machining large structures, weighing up to 200 tons, which will centralise heavy machining operations in Mondragón, considered a strategic activity in Fagor Arrasate’s production process. This will strengthen a critical part of the manufacturing process while significantly improving its efficiency and sustainability.
The new boring and milling machines that will equip this machining unit will not only enhance quality standards, but also reduce energy consumption and CO₂eq emissions, thereby contributing to the decarbonisation of Fagor Arrasate’s industrial processes.
