Arc Energy Resources has announced the completion of a 10,000sq Fabrication unit at its Gloucestershire factory (UK) to service its customers in the water, wastewater, instrumentation, sub-sea, oil and gas industries. The unit, which is divided into four self-contained and fully enclosed areas to avoid the possibility of cross contamination, includes two dedicated stainless steel workshops, a carbon steel workshop and an area for maintenance, R and D and goods inwards. The Fabrication unit is served by three overhead cranes ranging from 2 to 5tns capacity, and a central liquid argon distribution system with on-site gas mixing capability. Other facilities include bead-blasting, pressing, CNC, plasma cutting, rolling and NDT.
