A new range of thin-film technology pressure sensors can handle from –40 to 200C while using standard electronics to keep the price more conventional. The Model A08 from Sensor-Technik UK also features temperature correction on the pressure capsule giving quick and reliable compensation. There is no need for stand-off pipes, air/water cooling, or any extra mechanical pipework. Suitable for applications in hydraulics, autoclaves, chemical, process and machine building industries, the sensors are based on thin film technology, which means the measuring element and complete sensor is constructed in stainless steel, avoiding the need for oil-filling, O-ring, ceramic, sealastic etc. Two versions are available: the Option HT for media temperatures of –40 to +125C and the Option XHT for media temperatures of –40 to 200C. Pressure ranges cover 10 to 1000bar with all the standard electrical outputs including 4-20mA, 0 to 10V, 1 to 6V etc.
