Expanite, the Danish pioneer in heat treatment and surface hardening of stainless steel and titanium, is proud to announce a significant boost to the technical organization with the addition of Peter Gundel. Peter Gundel has been chief metallurgist at Bodycote for several years and is a very well-known face in the Danish and Nordic heat treatment industry. Peter Gundel holds an M.Sc. degree and has a Ph.D. from ATV (Academy of Technical Sciences) and is recognized for his more than 35 years working with materials and heat treatment in Denmark, the Nordic countries, and Germany. Before joining Expanite, Peter Gundel worked several years as a chief metallurgist at Bodycote with technical sales and has been a regular lecturer and examiner at DTU within materials science. With his extraordinary knowledge and broad experience in heat treatment and materials, Peter Gundel will be supporting customers, product development, and production at Expanite.
