Eurotecnica secures world’s largest melamine plant

Eurotecnica announced the award of the contract for the implementation of the world’s largest melamine plant with a nameplate capacity of 160,000 tonnes per year.
Xinjiang Xinlianxin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. (XLX) has selected Eurotecnica’s 5th generation (G5) Euromel® melamine technology for the design and implementation of this landmark project. Once commissioned, this plant will lift XLX’s total capacity to 1,000 tonnes per day of melamine, which is a record for this industry.
Euromel® Melamine is the only melamine technology featuring zero pollution, representing a benchmark with the lowest energy consumption in this industry and its well-known reliability and product quality consistency. Euromel® Melamine also spotlights the water-free high-pressure off-gas feature for easy integration within the upstream urea plant.
