Eskom has signed a USD 1.5 B(approximately R19.6 billion) loan agreement with the China Development Bank (CDB) at a signing ceremony held at Eskom’s head office Megawatt Park in Sunninghill, Johannesburg.
This agreement is continuation of co-operation between Eskom and CDB which began last year. This loan will also help CDB in ensuring the completion of Medupi project and ensure security of energy supply.
