ERAMET’s Board of Directors appointed Mrs Christel Bories Deputy CEO on February 23rd, 2017. She will then be proposed as the successor to Mr Patrick Buffet as ERAMET’s chairman & CEO at the conclusion of the General Meeting on May 23rd, 2017.
Patrick Buffet has led ERAMET for more than 10 years, successively going through a strong development phase then, more recently, the very serious crisis in the raw materials sector. Starting 2017, as 2016 results demonstrate the Group’s recovery, the Board of Directors decided to open a new chapter in the Group’s development with Christel Bories’ appointment. Her mission is to start a new growth cycle for ERAMET.
Christel Bories has a recognised on the ground experience in industry and metals sectors. Throughout her career, she has faced major transformation challenges, in complex and rapidly-changing environments.
