Andritz has received a major order from Baosteel Group to supply an annealing and pickling line for cold rolled stainless steel strip and a skin pass mill for the new stainless steel mill at Shanghai in China. The annual capacity is 370,000tns and the start up is scheduled for May 2009. The order value is EUR 45 million. Andritz will be responsible for engineering, supervision of erection and start up of the lines as well as for the supply of key equipment.
