EOS adds 4 new metal AM materials to portfolio

EOS, a major supplier of responsible manufacturing solutions for industrial 3D printing, has announced the addition of four (4) new metal additive manufacturing (AM) materials to its portfolio: EOS FeNi36, EOS NickelAlloy C22, EOS Steel 42CrMo4, and EOS StainlessSteel 316L-4404, each optimized for EOS Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) systems. These new materials further expand the company’s ability to address specialized AM requirements across the aerospace, energy, chemical, automotive, and marine industries, among others.

Designed for aerospace, space, defense, and energy applications, EOS FeNi36 is ideal for applications where precision and stability under fluctuating temperatures are critical.

EOS NickelAlloy C22 is designed for applications in chemical processing and food processing, providing manufacturers with an AM-ready solution for components exposed to highly aggressive environments.

EOS Steel 42CrMo4 is widely used steels in traditional automotive manufacturing, now optimized for AM. This low-alloyed steel is prized for its high toughness and strength, making it ideal for engineering components, gears, and shafts.

EOS StainlessSteel 316L-4404 is a European industry-standard stainless steel variant that combines high ductility, toughness, strength, and corrosion resistance.
