EnerMech wins crane maintenance contract

EnerMech has won a multi-million pound crane maintenance contract from Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited (Maersk Oil) for assets operating in the UK. As per the contract, EnerMech will cover the inspection, periodic maintenance and engineering support for all deck cranes on-board the Janice FPU, Gryphon and Global Producer III FPSO’s managed and operated from Aberdeen. With an estimated value of up to GBP 3 million over the three year (plus two) contract term, EnerMech will provide a range of technical services through its onshore engineering team including maintaining the assets, delivering major crane upgrades and providing assurance of mechanical integrity. This is EnerMech’s first FPSO crane maintenance contract for Maersk Oil. To support this contract, EnerMech will deploy its newly developed EnerMech LIVE online crane management system. EnerMech LIVE allows clients to view critical documentation, ranging from certificates to inspection reports, thereby increasing visibility of the vessel’s cranes certification status and regulatory compliance.
