Embracing the new

I am often fascinated by article titles.

Take the October issue of Stainless Steel World magazine, for example.

On page 47 there’s a story which is headed: “Embracing the new: an interview with Oladimeji Ajagbe of Whessoe Oil and Gas Limited”.

Naturally I read the entire article and trust me that was ten minutes well spent.

First up: it transpires that Mr Ajagbe is a process engineer who started his career in Nigeria and has recently relocated to the UK.

In this interview with SSW’s Editor-in-Chief John Butterfield, Mr Ajagbe goes on to discuss his work, which includes helping to develop equipment for the developing LNG sector, amongst others.

He said: “I design low temperature and refrigerated gas storage and handling facilities which allow for the receipt, storage and processing of refrigerated gases typically ranging from 0°C to -165°C.”

The interview also reveals some of Mr Ajagbe’s throughts on materials selection and areas where further research might come in useful.

Interesting stuff indeed. If you have not yet seen this article, please just drop me a line and I’ll be glad to forward a copy.
