The Boards of Directors of ERAMET and of Société Le Nickel (SLN) selected the Eiffage group as the preferred bidder for the power plant project intended to take over from the current power station that supplies SLN’s Doniambo plant in New Caledonia with electricity after a detailed comparative review of three competing bids. A substantial boost to SLN’s environmental and financial performance is expected from the power plant.
The two Boards noted that the planned date of second-quarter 2015 for the final investment decision for this project remains unchanged.
