Ecopetrol and Tenaris Renew Agreement in Colombia

The commercial agreement between Tenaris and Ecopetrol, Colombia’s largest energy company, has been renewed for an additional two years. Their partnership, which spans more than 15 years, reflects a shared commitment to operational excellence, long-term collaboration, and strengthening local content.
Tenaris supports Ecopetrol’s operations with a comprehensive portfolio of products and services, including TenarisHydril Blue® and TXP® BTC connections, proprietary grades such as Chrome13 S for onshore operations, and internal coating solutions like TenCoat™ Liner HDPE. The agreement covers supply for drilling, completion, and workover operations across three of Ecopetrol’s regions: Central, Orinoquía, and Piedemonte.
Rig Direct® mill-to-well services ensure the timely delivery of pipes and accessories by aligning production planning with customer needs. The new contract considers the potential expansion to include RunReady™ services, such as subassembly of accessories and drift-on-fly, along with the use of PipeTracer® to enhance operational efficiency.
