Ecocat Oy has sold its shares in the company’s subsidiary Metpela Oy in Laitila, Finland, to Godarb AB. Kemira’s subsidiary Ecocat Oy manufactures catalytic converters at Vihtavuori. Ecocat’s subsidiary Metpela engages in the manufacture of exhaust systems. Ecocat will focus more specifically in solutions connected to the use of catalysts in petrol and diesel engines. Metpela ranks among the leading Finnish manufacturers of exhaust pipes. Metpela will continue developing its exhaust pipe business on the current basis.
