Duro Felguera and TSK to deliver EPC projects

Duro Felguera and TSK have reached an agreement which purpose is the joint delivery of turnkey (EPC) projects in the fields of energy, mining and handling, industry, the environment and oil & gas.

The agreement will enable the pooling of capacities of the two engineering companies from Asturias, contributing value in three specific areas: reinforcing the scope and depth of project references, such as in renewable energies and combined cycles, greater presence and critical mass in the geographical sense, and improved risk management, as by sharing projects, each company’s backlog will evolve towards a greater number of projects with less individual proportionality.

As a first step in this alliance, a list of potential projects has been identified and a joint work team has been set up to take care of them. This list includes opportunities in the short, medium and long term, and adds new products to both companies’ backlogs.

The two companies together have engineering and project management staff of over 1,000 people, mainly in Gijón, Madrid, Vitoria, Cologne (Germany), Dallas (USA), Dubai and various capital cities in Latin America.

The agreement with TSK will help DF to accelerate its business plan up to 2021, when it expects to reach over € 1,000M in sales.
