Double-sealed control valves

The Samson (USA) Type 3347 control valve is designed for aseptic applications in the food processing industry. Often just called food or aseptic valves, they feature a double-sealed, cavity-free body design that eliminates potential bacteria growth areas. Polished stainless steel parts are used for aseptic valves to ensure the highest purity level of the process medium. A special PTFE bushing and an additional steam line connection is provided, allowing steam cleaning of the central section of the valve stem, to meet purity requirements and prevent bacteria from spreading at the actuator stem guide. This prevents germs being transferred through to the process at the actuator stem.
These valves can be easily installed into the pipeline because they are available with various connections including hygienic couplings, flanges and clamp connections and weld fittings.
