It is with deep regret and heartfelt sadness that Raccortubi announces the passing away of PierGiorgio Pentericci, President of Raccortubi Group and father of Vice President Luca Pentericci.
Over the course of his sixty years at Raccortubi, PierGiorgio Pentericci took the company on its journey from distributor of iron fittings to the stockist and manufacturer of piping materials that it is today. Always leading from the front, he oversaw many landmark moments including the establishment of Raccortubi’s sister-company Tecninox, manufacturer of butt weld fittings in stainless steel and special alloys. The company he leaves behind is almost unrecognisable from the one he began nurturing sixty years ago.

The overwhelming turnout at his funeral, especially amongst former employees of both Raccortubi, Tecninox and newly-acquired Petrol Raccord, is a living testament to the great impact that he had on others and the affection felt in return.
PierGiorgio Pentericci will be fondly remembered by everyone at Raccortubi Group. A true gentleman as well as a gifted entrepreneur, he will be sorely missed and will remain an example for all to follow.
