American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. has appointed David C. Dauch as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2012.

Dauch in a press release.

Richard Dauch, AAM Co-Founder, and current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will become Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.
