CVA and Cogne Acciai Speciali (CAS) have signed the first Energy Release agreement in the Aosta Valley — a milestone in Italy’s clean energy transition.
This partnership is based on a shared commitment to clean energy. CAS secures the resources to power its industrial processes, while CVA invests in new solar plants for a greener tomorrow.
Through the Energy Release scheme promoted by the Italian Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security, CAS will receive an advance of 272,075 MWh of electricity. CVA will repay this by developing four new solar plants in Sicily, delivering 20+ MW of capacity and generating over 593,000 MWh of renewable energy by 2026.
Together, CVA and CAS are advancing the decarbonisation of the industrial sector and creating a model of collaboration that drives long-term environmental and economic benefits. A partnership focused on energy efficiency, innovation, and shared growth.
More than a contract, this is a commitment to building a sustainable future for both business and community.
