From the 1st of Jan 2008 the company Cronifer (Holland) b.v, based in Moerdijk, will be integrated into the group of companies belonging to the Karlsruhe-based Cronimet Group under the umbrella of Cronimet Holding GmbH in the course of a future closer strategic cooperation. Simultaneously Cronifer (Holland) bv will be renamed Cronimet (Holland) b.v. The management on site has already been reinforced through the appointment of Mr Paul Gielen. Furthermore, the warehousing operation in Moerdijk will be simultaneously expanded and modernised, in order to take account of the increasing export traffic to Asia. The company premises are situated in the port of Merdijk and are connected to the Trans-European Waterway Network. The port is navigable by ocean-going vessels and is suitable for the traffic from inland waterway craft to sea-going vessel.
