Joint venture company North Adriatic Offshore has won a EUR 38 million contract for the construction of five gas production platforms for oil and gas combine Inagip. North Adriatic Offshore is a joint venture between Viktor Lenac and Italian offshore specialist Rosetti Marino. Inagip is an Italian-Croatian joint venture between the two energy companies and Italy’s Agip. The platforms are destined for the Ika and Ida fields in Croatian waters. North Adriatic Offshore also won an EUR 18 million contract from Inagip for the construction of a large gas production unit for the Marica field, 60km southeast of Pula. Two further tenders are said to be in the final stages of preparation for two units for the Ivana K and Ivana C fields, also in Croatian waters. Inagip is planning a total of 20 production platforms.
