Consumption of molybdenum will increase

The consumption of molybdenum is expected to increase as a result of the rise in steel consumption. According to some forecasts, the global apparent consumption volume of steel will increase by 2.6% year-on-year to 799m tons. In recent years, the consumption of molybdenum from the steel industry still accounts for 80% of the total molybdenum consumption. So the increase in steel output will lead to that in molybdenum consumption.
