Beswick Engineering’s new ultra-miniature duckbill check valve is designed to withstand up to 17bar(g) backpressure. The new CKV-M3 check valve sets an industry standard for miniaturisation. It is designed for gas and pneumatic applications, for applications that cannot tolerate any leaks or back flow, and for situations where space, weight, and sealing reliability are critical. Maximum length is about 19mm and the body is made from 5mm hexagonal stock. The CKV-M3 weighs just above 2g in brass and stainless steel. The CKV-M3 incorporates an elastomeric duckbill within its design that allows it to withstand up to 17bar(g) backpressure. It cracks open to allow flow at as little as 34mbar(g). This check valve is available with an inline barb to barb configuration, internal or external M3 threads and any combination of the three. The CKV-M3 is available in brass and 303 stainless steel. Optional seal materials are available, such as, silicone, fluorocarbon and EPDM.
