WITT, the specialist in gas control and gas safety equipment, has invented a system for marking coupling probes with a coloured o-ring: red for combustible gases, blue for oxygen. The system is intended to make working with the hose couplings SK 100 to EN561/ISO7289 simpler and safer. At first glance the coupling probes can be identified by means of the colour code – an important aid for the trade. The o-ring avoids wrong sorting at the stock and later on awkward wrong deliveries to the customers requiring time-consuming reworking.
