Clough in Indonesian gas project

Clough Ltd has announced that its subsidiary PT Petrosea Tbk has received a letter of intent jointly with PT Nisconi (a subsidiary of Nippon Corporation of Japan) for the ASD 125 million Gajah Baru Gas Export Project, located in the West Natuna Sea for Premier Oil Natuna Sea BV. Work on the project is already under way, with a 10 week re-engineering phase. Once completed the full contract will be executed for the detailed design, procurement, installation and commissioning with completion and first production due in 24 months. Clough has previously worked with Premier Oil in Indonesia on the Kakap project and is currently working on the Myanmar Yetagun project. The scope of the contract includes the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of an offshore production and compression platform, and about 3km of 200-mm subsea pipeline inclusive of tie-ins.
