Chrome premium for SS

Allegheny Ludlum is planning to implement a chromium premium component of 15 cents/pound for its superferritic stainless steels effective with January shipments. In a letter to customers, Mr Thomas P. DeLuca, Allegheny general manager, says the Pittsburgh-based mill will add the premium to certain grades of ferritic super-stainless steels.
