China: dispersible polymer powders plant

The Munich-based chemical group Wacker, a producer of dispersible polymer powders, will build a new dispersible polymer powders plant in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, East China. The new plant will increase Wacker’s dispersible polymer powder production capacity in China by a further 30,000 metric tons per year. Construction of the new plant is expected to start in autumn this year after Wacker receives all necessary permits from Chinese authorities. The construction will be completed by late 2008 and the plant will go into full operation then.
