Bodisen Biotech Inc. (Delaware, USA), an organic fertiliser manufacturer in China, has initiated its expansion plans and has broken ground for a new manufacturing facility in Yang Ling. The expansion is to meet rising demand as the company has received USD 3.6 million in contracts from nine customers for 2004 product delivery. The company currently produces approximately 100,000 metric tons of organic fertiliser annually. The first phase of the new manufacturing facility will add 100,000 metric tons in annual production capability. The new facility is expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2004 and will include a research facility that will enable the company to further expand its R&D efforts.
