Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. announced changes to its executive leadership team. Schnitzer’s Board of Directors appointed Richard Peach as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Mr Peach had served as Schnitzer’s CFO since 2007. Prior to joining Schnitzer, Mr Peach was CFO at PacifiCorp. The Board also appointed Stefano Gaggini as the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr Gaggini has been the Company’s Principal Accounting Officer since December 2013. Mr Gaggini is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Oregon and prior to this worked for KPMG.
Additionally, the Board appointed Mark Schuessler as the Company’s Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr Schuessler was an audit manager at Perkins & Co. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Oregon.
