Mr Jacques Chabanier is to succeed Mr Don Pether as President and CEO of Dofasco, the Canadian steelmaker acquired by Arcelor in February 2006. Mr Chabanier will replace Mr Don Pether as of 21 July 2006. Mr Pether is to become the non-executive Chair of the company’s Board of Directors, replacing Mr Brian MacNeill who will resign to help facilitate a seamless succession in the leadership of the company.
