CENTRAVIS receives conditional approval

CENTRAVIS, global supplier of high-quality seamless stainless tubes & pipes, has received conditional approval from Southern Company for supply of stainless tubing for pressure part fabrication. Southern Company is an American electric utility holding company based in southern United States. The approval is the result of careful analysis of CENTRAVIS` 304H and 316H steel grades. Conditional approval was granted on the basis of samples analysis. Now the company plans to ship the tubes of TR304H TR347H steel grades for the customer’s current projects, after which it is expected to receive the final approval of Southern Company.

“Southern Company is one of the largest players in conventional boiler market in North America, a kind of Exxon for the segment. They have high requirements and approval is also important for other potential customers”, says General Manager of CENTRAVIS Sales America Waldemar Scheiermann. “With the approval of Southern Company we have a unique chance to enter the new sector for us in North America.”

CENTRAVIS has been already certified by the key oil-producing companies in the UAE (ADCO, ZADCO and ADMA OPCO), BP North America, and has been approved by major US and European engineering companies KBR, LyondellBasell, CB&I and KOCH Heat Transfer in 2015.
