CB&I awarded Kearl Oil Sands expansion contract

 
CB&I has been awarded a contract by Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Ltd., for work on the Kearl Expansion Project in Alberta. The contract is valued at more than USD750 million. CB&I’s expansion project involvement will include engineering, procurement, assembly and construction of froth tank farms, storage tanks, a second bitumen extraction plant and six froth settling units. This new contract is in addition to CB&I’s EPC contract for the Kearl Initial Development project which began in 2008.
