Mandan Tesoro Refinery to boost diesel production

The Mandan Tesoro Refinery intends to increase diesel production in order to support the growing regional demand for diesel fuel. The company will expand its Distillate Desulferization Unit by 5000 barrels of diesel per day, increasing the total number of barrels per day to 22,000.

Biomass plant planned

A wood waste-to-energy plant worth USD 80 million is being proposed for the White Swan area. The plant, using woody debris from Yakama Indian Nation forest lands, would employ about 30 people and be in operation by the fall of 2013.
