Zhejiang Kingland orders spiral pipe welding line

Zhejiang Kingland Pipe Industry awarded PWS, an SMS Meer company, a contract for the supply of off-line spiral pipe welding equipment. As per the agreement, PWS will supply an integrated system solution consisting of a spiral pipe forming and tack-welding machine for forming and initial welding of hot-rolled steel strip.

First project using new subsea pile guiding frame

The first offshore pile installation operation with the StabFrame, a newly created subsea pile-stabilising template, has been successfully completed in the OGX Waimea field in Brazil's Campos Basin. Used in a joint venture with Drilling Ltd.

Shell expands LNG portfolio

Royal Dutch Shell has announced that it wants to buy East Africa-focused Cove Energy for USD 1.57 billion. The news comes after Cove announced on February 21st that it and its partner Anadarko had discovered further natural gas in the Lagosta field in Mozambique's offshore Rovuma Basin.
