Sunoco, Carlyle in discussion for JV

Sunoco, Inc. has entered into exclusive discussions with The Carlyle Group, a global alternative asset manager, regarding a potential joint venture involving Sunoco's 330,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Philadelphia.If a transaction were to go through, Sunoco would contribute its Philadelphia refinery assets in exchange for a non-operating minority interest in the joint venture.

Nord Stream completes 2nd pipeline section

Ethylene pipeline in Germany completed

Germany's long-delayed 400,000 tonne/year ethylene pipeline to connect BASF's petrochemicals hub at Ludwigshafen in Rhineland-Palatinate with chemical sites in Bavaria has been completed.
