FLV Series Filters from Hayward Flow Control

Hayward Flow Control has launched new FLV Series Filters. The FLV features a one-piece injection molded platinum GF-PP (Glass Filled Polypropylene) body in sizes 1 (16in) and 2 (32in). Unlike traditional metal and plastic filters, the FLV offers a True-Union design for multiple end connections and sizes as well as quick installation or removal.

Drilling contracts worth NOK 30 billion

On behalf of relevant licensees, Statoil has awarded contracts for drilling services on as many as 18 fixed installations on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). The contracts are worth a total of NOK 30 billion, including options.

Valued at approximately USD 9 million, this contract forms part of a global Enterprise Frame Agreement awarded to Wood Group Kenny earlier this year by Shell Global Solutions International BV.

Technip wins two subsea contracts

Jacobs awarded contract for phosphate project

Chile GasAtacama to invest in LNG Terminal

In the next ten years, Chile must almost double its 2011 installed energy capacity of 16,000MW to keep up with projected demand. Chile energy supplier GasAtacama SA intends to invest between USD 300 million and USD 400 million in an offshore liquefied natural gas regasification terminal off the coastline of northern Chile.

WorleyParsons wins contract for China, Brazil plan

WorleyParsons has been awarded the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services contract for the delivery of acrylic chemicals projects for BASF. The projects include the design and construction of acrylic acid and super absorbent polymer plants to be located in Eastern China and Northern Brazil.
