CB&I wins Kearl Expansion Project contract

CB&I has been awarded a contract, valued at approximately USD 300 million, by Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Ltd. for work on the Kearl Expansion Project in Alberta, Canada. As per the contract, CB&I’s project scope for this phase of the work includes procurement, module assembly at CB&I’s Fort Saskatchewan facilities, and construction and installation of modular components at the site.

Shell Development awards subsea contract

BASF acquires ITWC, Inc.

BASF and ITWC, Inc. announced that BASF has acquired ITWC, Inc., based in Malcom, Iowa. ITWC specializes in cast elastomer polyurethane systems and polyester polyols. With over 80 employees including business management, manufacturing, R&D, sales, and administrative functions, ITWC operates sites in Malcom, Iowa and Riverside, California.

Bombardier makes massive investment

Bombardier Aerospace has signed an agreement with Midparc Investment S.A., a Moroccan property holding and management company, to purchase land required for its new plant in the Midparc Casablanca Free Zone, in Nouaceur. Bombardier intends to invest approximately USD 200 million in equipment, buildings and start-up costs over the next eight years.
