Uganda wants to keep 40% stake in refinery

KBR has won a contract for engineering and procurement services for DuPont’s first cellulosic ethanol plant in Nevada, Iowa. KBR will provide front-end engineering, detailed engineering and procurement services to DuPont's Industrial Biosciences Group for this first-of-a-kind plant to be constructed in the Midwest United States.

McDermott secures projects frm Saudi Aramco

McDermott International, Inc. reported that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded two projects for Saudi Aramco in the Arabian Gulf in the Karan, Safaniya and Zuluf fields. The first project, Karan-45, includes fabrication of a new wellhead platform, auxiliary platform, jacket and link bridge, with subsea installation of a 20in flowline and a 15kV composite power and fiber optic cable.

Open season for Allegheny Access

Open season for Allegheny Access Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. announced that Sunoco Pipeline L.P. and Inland Corporation will commence a binding Open Season for the Allegheny Access Pipeline project, which will transport refined products from the Midwest to eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania markets.
