Foster Wheeler to design and supply CFB steam gene

Foster Wheeler AG announced that a subsidiary of its Global Power Group has been awarded a contract by GS E&C for the design and supply of the 105MWe (gross megawatt electric) circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) steam generator for the Dangjin 4 Biomass Power Plant Project for GS EPS, a subsidiary of GS Group.

Maersk receives approval for Balloch

Maersk Oil UK has won development approval from Britain’s government for the Balloch oil field in the central North Sea.

Discovered in 2010, Balloch is close to Maersk Oil UK’s Dumbarton development.

Cameron to supply for Erha

Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria has awarded Cameron a contract to supply the subsea systems for the deepwater Erha North Phase 2 offshore Nigeria. The contract includes 32 subsea wellheads that will tieback to the existing Erha FPSO in addition to five subsea production trees, two water injection trees, three manifolds, production and topsides controls, and associated equipment.

SMS Concast to deliver EAF to Republic Steel

SMS Concast AG received an order to deliver a 150-t EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) and process equipment from the US company Republic Steel.
