Vedanta Resources plans BALCO expansion

Vedanta Resources, a globally diversified metals and mining company, is planning a major expansion in its subsidiary Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO).

Centrica Energy acquires Barents Sea license

Centrica Energy in Norway has been awarded a 50% operating share in the Scarecrow licence, its first in the Barents Sea.
