Siemens to modernise blast furnace at Vizag Steel

Siemens Metals Technologies has received an order from the state-owned Indian Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL) to thoroughly modernise blast furnace No. 2 at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (Vizag Steel). Interior volume will be boosted from 3,200m3 to 3,820m3.

Vallourec receives 1st order

Vallourec launched new welded stainless steel tubes to be fitted into umbilicals. Umbilicals are used to connect the equipment on the seabed to a control station at the surface, and are key components of a subsea installation.

Mechel completes complex construction
