Hongye’s glycol project to use SES technology

Synthesis Energy Systems’ subsidiary, SES New Energy Technologies (Shanghai), has entered into a MOU with Hongye International Investment Group for the supply of SES' gasification technology, equipment and services to Hongye's 600,000t per year glycol plant to be built in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China.

GE to upgrade POSCO-Thainox facilities

Last year, POSCO-Thainox announced an ambitious business plan to increase annual capacity for cold-rolled stainless steel over the next four years from 200,000 tons to 300,000 tons. POSCO has contracted GE’s Energy Management Services business to upgrade their facilities with minimal interruption to their current production lines.

Gamesa to supply 101 turbines to Iberdrola

Gamesa signed an agreement with Iberdrola for the supply of 101 G97-2.0MW turbines for the Baffin wind farm project being developed by Iberdrola in southern Texas. The wind turbines are scheduled for delivery mid-2014, while the facility is slated for commissioning towards the end of next year.
