Vestas secures 4 projects in Canada

Vestas has secured a 24MW order comprising four projects from juwi Wind in Canada. Deliveries for all projects — Truro Heights, Millbrook, Whynotts and Chebucto Pockwock — are expected to occur in mid-2014 with commissioning in the second half of next year.

Tenaris purchases Brazilian joint venture interest

Tenaris announced an agreement to purchase, subject to regulatory approval, the remaining 50% interest in Socotherm Brasil from Socotherm Americas, a division of ShawCor.

Socotherm Brasil operates a pipe-coating facility managed by Tenaris located near the Confab welded pipe mill in Pindamonhangaba, Brazil.
