Mirant plans power plant for S. Korea
Mirant Corp. has said it will purchase South Korea's Hyundai Energy Co. Ltd (Henco) and build a 520mw combined cycle power plant in southern Korea.

McDermott signs Caspian contract
McDermott Caspian Contractors Inc., the Caspian arm of J. Ray McDermott SA, a subsidiary of McDermott International Inc., has signed contracts with AIOC for the fabrication of platform topsides and the installation of offshore pipelines in Phase 1 of the development of the Azeri, Chirag and deepwater portion of the Gunashli (ACG) fields in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.
